Self Briefing for Airports PDF Print E-mail
An Internet based service that enables any airport to comply with pilot briefing requirements for schedules and GA traffic.

Designed for airport flight briefing units and handling agent users to deliver integrated, route specific, pre-flight self briefingMET/AIS briefings for all aircrew whether for scheduled or GA traffic. Pre-flight information is dynamically generated from an efficient, cost effective, on-line, national and international database of up-to-the-minute aeronautical and meteorological information.

Information is collected from a wide variety of sources including but not limited to the AFTN, OPMET, GRIB, SADIS, and EADS (or any local state AIS system), providing perhaps the most comprehensive pre-flight briefing available today.

Input of destination and flight level produces pre-flight information for an optimum Great Circle route. Alternatively Airport/Airline Operators or Handling Agents can build their own ‘routes’ to their airports of interest. Four keystrokes produces an integrated route specific brief.

In the interests of economy and reducing the effect on the world’s ecosystem, briefing information should be duplex printed (using both sides of a sheet of paper).
