BYTRON applications and systems are based on open principles to promote the integration of data for delivery to the point of need and they may be interfaced, either actively or passively, with almost any third party system. We will design Interface Control Documents and develop interfaces to your requirements. The following are just a few that have been developed to date.

skybook® - Interfaces have been developed to to receive and distribute data from flight planning, engineering and maintenance, commercial, library, rostering and scheduling systems. Data is regularly received into the Flight Data Centre, stored and automatically appended to the relevant flight pack on demand.

Accounts - Performs in either active or passive modes, or a combination of both, depending on the accounting system installed. Data provided includes the necessary statistics for landing, controlled airspace, parking, fuelling and handling charges. In passive modes accounting staff are provided with a view facility from which they can collect the required information and transfer to the accounts system. In active mode, systems "talk" to eacho other and much of the data transfer can be automatic. For example; "Wheels Down" input on FDMS will automatically post the correct landing fee to the airline operators account. If no account is held, a point of sale invoice is produced at the appropriate location.

Radar Data Processing System - Interface that utilises the RDPS dual serial link, establishes which link is active and passes information messages between the FDMS and Radar systems. Messages include Code Callsign (managed according to an ORCAM table), QNH (from a MET system) and RVSM information.

Flight Information Display System - Interface that receives active flight information from ATC FDMS and Airport Resource Management systems ensuring automatic, accurate updates to displays including arrivals, departures, cancellations, delays, diversions, and bay, gate, carousel allocations. Manual over-ride is provided.
