Global Aviation Data Specialists

About Bytron - The Aviation Data Specialists

Established in 1984 we have had several firsts in our history, the most notable being the first company in the world to successfully transmit messages via the AFTN from computer to computer (1989). Others include realising the operational viability of Xenix/Unix/Linux and adopting as a standard in 1988; incorporating the use of TCP/IP in 1992 and enabling applications to provide safe, secure Internet flight briefing services as early as 2001.

Standard setting and pioneering is therefore second nature to us. Our long term goal was to make the flow of information around any airport, airline or aviation centre as automated as the flight decks of the aircraft using them. Our design philosophy was to provide highly flexible, technically innovative, compliant user oriented solutions compliant to the required aviation standards.

We quietly work with you to help improve your operational workstream, transforming and communicating your data into actionable information.

Today our goals and philosophies remain unchanged and products are virtually COTS solutions designed especially for those of you operating at the sharp end: products and services that also provide a significant ROI year on year.
